A personal journey, a bigger purpose.

APEX was founded by Sameer Swaleh with a simple belief: technology should make businesses work better, not more complicated.

  1. Before APEX

    Sameer started at Fayaz Bakers and worked through roles including salesman, cashier, bakery clerk and sales manager.

    Wherever he worked, he looked for ways to improve how the work was done. As a cashier he built an Excel sheet to help manage stock, calculate faster and reduce errors.

  2. Learning to build

    The technology was self-taught, and the method was repetition: research, build, fail, restart, improve.

    One principle came from his father, and it is the reason the restarts were never wasted.

  3. The idea behind APEX

    The hardest part is not building software. It is understanding what actually needs to be built.

    So APEX starts with the problem, before the technology.
